This Equi-Taping® Method of application, can be used for horses who exhibit unstable or painful sacroiliac joints.

This is a very basic but effective joint stability taping method used in adding support to the sacroiliac joints. This taping can aid in decreasing joint swelling and inflammation.

Apply both pieces of Equi-Tape® as shown by tearing paper backing in the center of each piece. Stretch the tape using moderate tension through the center of the tape. Lay tape down as shown, with no tension on the last 3” on the ends of the tape.
